So as yinz’ve noticed, I don’t really blog anymore. If I actually think of something to blog about, it invariably turns out that by the time I sit down to write, the subject has been covered elsewhere in greater detail. So I’ve discovered the joys of Facebook where I can easily just link to other blogs and articles, as well as play Word Challenge over and over again.
I’m not going to say I’ll never post here again, but most of my action is going on over there. Yes, after years of resisting “social networking” I’ve finally been sucked in. If you want to keep up with me, my profile (I think) is here.
It was nice reading you over the years, David. But there’s no frickin’ way I’m ever going to use Facebook. Take care. I’ll keep your feed in my defunct blogs folder in case you decide to rejoin the light.

I haven’t blogged for a long while, but I just upgraded mine to a new install. I personally hate facebook. I have an account and do the bare minimum to interact socially, like I respond to requests from people I’m not really friends with but who have come across me in one way or another.
I think a blog needs to become your life if you’re going to have any success with it. I’m not ready to do that. Otherwise it becomes a waste of time.
That being said, I fear the day when “Internet” means “Google” “Facebook” and “Wikipedia”. We just might be headed in that direction. Plus Anarchoblogs crashed and burned, lowering my motivation even further… I wanted to create an “Alt.Culture Aggregator” (moak47.info), but I just couldn’t find that much political culture blogs out there. Only yours and a few others. Oh well. Good luck with Facebook. My limited experience of it proved it to be pretty frivolous, at least for me.
